Captain America Will Change!!
Talking with The Los Angeles Times ahead of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, "Captain America: The First Avenger" director Joe Johnston says that his film will stay true to the comic up to a certain point.
Those changes will include downplaying the ra-ra patriotism of the comic - "We're sort of putting a slightly different spin on Steve Rogers. He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver. We're reinterpretating sort of what the comic book version of Steve Rogers was. He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag" says Johnston.
So what will his character be? "He's just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don't change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier, you have to stay who you are inside, that's really what's important more than your strength and everything. It'll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate" he adds.
The news comes as two rather spectacular pieces of Comic Con art have hit featuring "Thor" and "Captain America", while a new shot from "Thor" shows off Chris Hemsworth in his character's human guise trying to retrieve his hammer.

Andrew Garfield, the dandy man with web hairstyle will be replacing Tobey Maguire as the new Spiderman... well considering the news that the next Spiderman movie will return to its roots where our Peter Parker discovers his new superpower which lets him shoot his liquids from the palm of his hand and stick it anywhere at his whim. (sorry for the misleading vocabulary) . I for one not really a fan of Tobey Maguire as Spiderman.. well he just not that cool enough, but this man...... hmm I don't know, gives off an unique aura I should say? We shall see how it will turn out ^^

4000$ for this War Machine Suit
The 25-year-old fitness consultant has been a life-long Iron Man fan, and his first attempt was more of a costume. His second? His second is a US$4,000 dollar suit held together by high-impact urethane and, according to Popular Science, over 1,500 rivets and washers. Le sculpted the helmet from clay and then created the finished product from resin.
Le decided to make this War Machine suit, the one that Stark's buddy Jim Rhodes wears in Iron Man 2, because, as he tells PopSci, "it just looks more hardcore". That it does.

With all the cool hype going on and with this juicy news from kotaku, I'm pretty sure this movie will be one eye candy so sweet it will melt my brain... I'm guessing u guys have pretty much know the awesome casts of Ironman2 with all the lovely machines, Robert Downey Jr, and all the sexy ladies, so let this post remind you again what to expect from this upcoming blockbuster hit.

The drama about a squad of bomb defusing specialists and the emotional toll war takes on them also secured writer Mark Boal the Academy Award for best original screenplay, and claimed honours for film editing, sound editing and mixing. Bigelow and her film "The Hurt Locker" bagged Oscars over stiff competition from her ex-husband James Cameron, whose sci-fi adventure "Avatar" is the top-grossing movie ever with US$2.5 billion. "Avatar" earned three Oscars, but in technical categories which are visual effects, cinematography and art direction. Both had been nominated for nine awards.

Bioware's Mass Effect 2 is getting Hollywood Attention
BioWare's Casey Hudson, the project director for Mass Effect 2, acknowledged a "tremendous amount of interest" from Hollywood in a Mass Effect film but vows such a movie, if done, will be done right or not at all.
"Obviously we have a tremendous amount of interest from people in Hollywood to make a major motion picture about 'Mass Effect,'" Hudson told the MTV Movies Blog. "The most important thing for us is, we don't just want to see a movie get made. We want to see a great movie get made, if it's going to get done at all."
Well, we have learn from previous game to movie (Street Fighter : Legend of Chun-Li) usually doesn't really work that well, and a movie to game (Transformer 2) is an absolute disaster. However looking at Mass Effect universe which has such a great world, casts and characters combined with a believable story, it is definitely interesting to see it get made into a movie by the hands of a capable director.... Now if they throw in Christian Bale as commander Shepard and Megan Fox as the heroine cast I would definitely buy it ^^
Street Fighter : Legend of Chun-Li wins an Award! *grin*
Well, history has always repeated themselves, movie made from a video game doesn't usually end up good, however this particular movie has made a name in the movie industry for actually winning an "award"
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, which has won Rotten Tomatoes' Golden Tomato award! I haven't checked the category yet, but I'm pretty sure it's ... oh. It's the Golden Tomato for "Worst Reviewed Movie of the Year."
Tobey McGuire got dumped by Spiderman
Actor Tobey McGuire and director Sam Raimi won’t be returning for Spider-Man’s fourth big screen feature, Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios announced Tuesday (12.01.2010).

"A decade ago we set out on this journey with Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire and together we made three Spider-Man films that set a new bar for the genre. When we began, no one ever imagined that we would make history at the box-office and now we have a rare opportunity to make history once again with this franchise.
"Peter Parker as an ordinary young adult grappling with extraordinary powers has always been the foundation that has made this character so timeless and compelling for generations of fans. We're very excited about the creative possibilities that come from returning to Peter's roots and we look forward to working once again with Marvel Studios, Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin on this new beginning," said Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Director Sam Raimi said working on the Spider-Man films had been, "the experience of a lifetime." Adding, "while we were looking forward to doing a fourth one together, the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job."
While originally slated for release in 2011, Sony stated that the film has not yet gone into production.
